Status Function Description | User Manual | Popular Online courses, sales courses | Learning online platform | BlueEyes Technology
The Status Module is one of the most critical management tools in the LOL Online Learning Platform. It provides administrators with comprehensive system monitoring capabilities. With this module, administrators can monitor the real-time operational status of the entire platform and its resource usage, including video storage capacity, video transcoding progress, user connection status, live course attendance, and real-time FTP upload activities. This greatly aids in preventing potential issues and enhances overall system performance and user experience.
When the platform experiences traffic surges or abnormal usage behavior, the status module serves as an early warning and response mechanism, allowing timely intervention and resource adjustment. This feature is especially suited for high-usage institutions, cloud-based learning environments, corporate training platforms, and education providers who prioritize data security and operational transparency.
Step-by-Step Operation Guide
1. Accessing the Status Module
Log in to the LOL platform using an administrator account.
From the left menu, navigate to Admin Panel > Status.
2. Managing Video Storage Capacity
Select the Video Storage Capacity tab.
View total capacity, used capacity, and remaining space.
If space is insufficient, administrators can either use Online Top-up to expand storage or manually delete unused videos to free up space.
3. Monitoring Transcoding Progress
Click the Transcoding Progress tab.
The system displays detailed info on all ongoing video transcodes, including file path, file name, resolution, duration, FPS, file type, progress percentage, and elapsed time.
Administrators can cancel a specific transcoding task if needed.
4. Viewing User Connection Status
Go to the User Connection Status tab.
Lists all active user sessions, including IP address, username, name, login time, browser, OS, and current video playback.
Administrators can Force Logout users if abnormal usage is detected (e.g., account sharing or prolonged idle sessions).
5. Tracking Live Usage
Open the Live Usage tab.
Displays which users have entered the live classroom, their check-in status, join time, and total watch duration.
Supports instructors in conducting attendance and interaction statistics during live classes.
6. FTP Upload Monitoring
Go to the FTP Upload tab.
Shows the list of files currently being uploaded.
If an upload fails or is interrupted, administrators can stop the upload and remove the file before retrying.
7. Seat Package Status
Click the Seat Package tab.
View daily used seats and remaining seat credits.
If the number of concurrent viewers exceeds the subscription limit, the system will automatically deduct from the seat package.
Usage Scenarios
Common Operational Scenarios
Daily Health Check: Each morning, the admin checks system storage and usage metrics via the Status module to ensure platform stability.
Video Upload Failures: If users report issues uploading videos, check the video storage tab for remaining space.
Transcoding Incomplete: If a video cannot be played, go to Transcoding Progress to ensure the process has completed successfully.
Suspicious Behavior Monitoring: Use User Connection Status to detect abnormal extended viewing sessions or account sharing. Force logout if necessary.
Live Attendance Tracking: Instructors and assistants use Live Usage to track entry times and interactions during live classes.
FTP Upload Errors: If uploads fail, go to FTP Upload, delete any incomplete files, and re-upload with a stable connection.
Flexible Expansion During Peak Periods: During high-demand seasons, if viewer numbers exceed the plan limit, purchase extra seat credits via the Seat Package.

Recommendations
The Status Module is the first line of defense for platform maintenance and quality assurance. It is highly recommended that administrators perform daily checks and become familiar with each monitoring tab. Proactive monitoring enables timely resolution of issues, uninterrupted learning, smooth video playback, and a secure system environment.
